Welcome to R.I.D Kennel!!!! We are a wonderful kennel located in Durham, North Carolina. My name is Rashida Parker. My family and I are from Chapel Hill, North Carolina. I have two amazing brothers, DJ and Israel Parker. DJ is a professional forex trader. And Israel is currently playing football for Barton College working his way up to play in the NFL. I graduated from Campbell University, located in Buies Creek, North Carolina. I graduated with my degree in Behavioral Science. I also work in the health care field for the University of NC in pharmacy. I am in nursing school to obtain my BSN. My mother (Lori) and father (Darrell) are health care providers, their jobs are both amazing and challenging. Not only is my father a health care provider, he is also a teacher who works with autistic children in the school system. It takes a very special person to do this type of work and enjoy having a positive impact in someone's life. My mother works with deaf and hard of hearing children. She loves making a difference in families lives that come from all over. Growing up, my parents brought my brothers and I up teaching and showing us how to care for people at a young age. This same enthusiasm was passed down into loving our animals. We've had Igaunas, Bearded Dragon Lizards, Ball Pythons, Red Tail Boas, Cockatoos, Guinea Pigs, large fish aquariums, hand made ant farms, Pugs, Pekingneses, Rottweilers, Yorkies, and last but not least Olde English Bulldogges. My family and I took a very special interest in Olde English Bulldogges. This specific breed has a wonderful and great temperament. They have great confirmation, very sociable and easy to train. Olde English Bulldogges are wonderful family pets. Our Olde English Bulldogge, Blue, lived to be 18 years old.
